NTT DATA Group takes second place among the best IT service providers in Europe as a new entrant. This is the result of the IT Sourcing Study Europe 2020/20 by Whitelane Research with more than 1700 participants. The survey of customers of a total of 30 IT and cloud providers resulted in 81 percent customer satisfaction for the NTT DATA Group. In the process, 83 percent of respondents described their general satisfaction with NTT DATA Group as "very satisfied" or "satisfied" – the highest figure in the entire field of participants. The average customer satisfaction rating was 72 percent.
"NTT DATA Group caused a real surprise in this year's study by coming in second place right away with the highest satisfaction scores as a newcomer to the competition," comments Jef Loos, Head of Sourcing at Whitelane Research. "This achievement is all the more significant given that the market as a whole also saw an increase from an average of 70 percent to 72 percent satisfaction. The survey made it clear that the NTT DATA Group is a top address among IT providers also in Europe".
NTT DATA Group did even better than in the overall ranking in the assessment by individual industries: No less than three first-place rankings were achieved in the manufacturing industry (87 percent general satisfaction), the public sector (82 percent) and the telecommunications industry (80). Following its first place in Whitelane Research's 'IT Sourcing Germany 2020', NTT DATA Group has thus also established itself as an IT champion and reliable partner for multinational companies at a European level.
The top rankings in the overall evaluation result from the consistently very high satisfaction scores in the individual categories such as:
• Account management: 82 percent (average of all IT service providers: 74 percent).
• Business understanding: 80 percent (average: 72 percent).
• Service delivery quality: 80 percent (average:73 percent).
• Cloud capability: 78 percent (average:72 percent).
• Transformation quality: 74 percent (average:63 percent).
• Proactivity: 74 percent (average: 64 percent).
• Innovation: 71 percent (average: 62 percent).
